Video on MPx220 [Archive] - Thoughts Media Forums

Hello,

I just got my Cingular MPx220 and while it has Window Media Player 9, i cannot get the phone to recognize mpeg video clips. I can get it to play MP3's from Media Player, but when i put a video into the folder labeled My Videos, it doesnt even show up on the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Raban. Does this just install on to your Smartphone? Have you used this with an MPx220?

Betaplayer installs and works well on the MPx220.

While downloading from the site, download the one that has the word 'smartphone' in the download file name. The others are for Pocket PC and will not install.

I have no trouble playing MPEG's using the free version of Pocket TV. You can find it with very good instructions at pockettv.com. I store the files on the memorary card.

The MPx220 file manager will not usually show files when it doesn't recognize the type - but they are there. You can see them by using Explore in Active Sync and you can delete them.
