It's still in early Alpha stages, but it's looking pretty nice!

What's podcasting and what is it used for?

Podcasting is RSS, but with sound instead of text. Basically you syndicate an audio file. So the person that subscribes to the feed gets a MP3 file and can listen to the content.

Does all that make sense?

Yes it does. Thanks Mike. I guess someday someone might come out with zencasting :)
