HP Headphone Adapter

I had some credit at Staples and ended up buying the HP headphone adapter and headphones. The headphone adapter is awful, if the adapter moves or you breath on it you lose music in your left or right ear or it will crackle. I am taking it back tommorrow.

But what I am trying to find out is if other adapters are like this as well? What about the ones made by PocketPCtechs?

I was wondering if the adapter problem I experienced was just me. I too have problems losing the music for what seems a slight tap on the adapter and its connection point. I would love to purchase some really nice Sony earbuds but will not because of this issue. I guess the unit it came with has to do for now.

I spent 3 dollars for one at Radio Shack, and it works like a charm.
