It is far more advanced than its predecessor. With new castle inhabitants and unexpected plot offshoots the animations got more complex. Natural sound alerts introduced in this version offer a new sure way to follow every event happening on the screen. In other words, Riverland 2 is thoroughly renovated to astonish and please you over and over again."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20041229-RiverlandScreenSaver.gif" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />The idea of a screen savers for mobile devices is lost on me. I would rather conserve the battery power when on the road. Of course, it could play while it's cradled and charging, but I usually do that over night. You can download a trial version, or purchase the application for $4.95 <a href="http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1019">here.</a> Oh, and in case you don't recall, the first generation was <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6829">"Tribe"</a>. I would like a screen saver that will just show a simple digital clock. I have seen that on Sony Ericsson phones. :-(

Getting back to this post. I tried the screen saver. It refused to run. After the one minute timeout, I got an error message stating that it could not run some .exe. I am guessing it is because I installed the program on the storage card instead of the main memory. :? Did not try reinstalling the app.

I got an error that said it couldn't find the graphics pack or something. Too much hassle. Uninstalled, forgotten.

I got that too...this app has the weirdest installer...the ZIP file had two CAB files and no clear instructions. Had to run both the CAB files to avoid the Graphics package missing error.

But overall same here..uninstalled and forgotten.

Same here. Reinstall of both CAB files didn't help, still the graphics pack error. Uninstall and delete.

These are really meant for people who leave their pocket PC in a desk cradle... They just recompile it for a smartphone in visual studio and post it on their site. They obviously don't do much testing on smartphones. I would like to find something like this for a pc..

I agree but the darn thing should at least install.
