Very cool - all but the WMP 9 part... I thought that all HTC's had the WMP10 installed on them - or was taht only the Audiovox branded version?

Just the Audiovox, so far. Based on Arne's post, it looks like that is going to change soon. :)

Expansys USA has stock of the North American version with GSM 850. I'd love to order one but I am wary - apparently after 15 days are up with Expansys you are dealing directly with i-Mate/Carrier Devices.

Apparently i-Mate's North American operation is not fully set up yet, meaning if you have any hardware issues (joystick etc ) you are going to wind up shipping your phone to Taiwan or UAE in the Middle East for repair.

That's not to say you won't have your problem resolved at some point (I've not dealt with i-Mate before) but just a disclaimer for those interested. I suspect under this scenario you might be without your phone for a couple of weeks or more.

Not in €uro! Unfortunately the US$ is way too weak and I've paid it some time back when the US$ was stronger.
The initial calculation was less but than the €uro exploded... :-(

This is true.... It sucks when we're on the short end....

The MMS won't work in the US. I have an iMate Smartphone I bought from Arne. Its a great phone but I never could get MMS to work. Spent tons of times trying to get it to work with experts, T-Mobile staff, etc. No dice. Still I can live without MMS.

I can live without MMS.

I just wish there was an easy way to remove MMS from the phone for those of us that don't want/need it. :(

I wonder what's different about the SP3i?

It worked on my SMT5600 (SP3) with both the Audiovox and i-mate ROM. :?

Than it should also work with the SP3i. "goofy166" bought one of the previous i-mate Smartphones, not the SP3i and the MMS client of the Typhoon/Feeler (C500/SP3/SP3i, etc) changed and is integrated into the Inbox now.

Ah, gotcha. I too was unable to get MMS working on a previous model (SPV e100). Works great on the Typhoon! :)

Now to get it working on the JAM...

Is it true, Arne, that you personally use Motorola MPx220 as your main cellphone, although you sell SP3i?

I am just asking.

No, I'm using all my Smartphones (2003 SE only now) randomly. :P
