http://www.ppcw.net/?itemid=2166

"German cash-and-carry supermarket "real,-" today previewed their offer for next week and what can we see under the electronic category? Yes, it's the Sagem myS-7 Windows Mobile 2003 SE Smartphone, re-branded as Medion Smartphone. Between 20.12. and 25.12.2004 the Sagem myS-7 is available for 499,00 Euro and will also include "Navigon's (re-branded?) navigation software" for Smartphone."

If you live in Germany, it looks like you have a new Windows Mobile device coming. Although the $499 Euro price is a little steep.

It seems that re-branding devices is going to be the next big thing. The Sagem myS-7 is also showing up as a Mio Mitac device, and now Medion too. I hope this doesn't turn into another Typhoon where we have dozens of names for the same thing. :?

I just saw this device in my local Halfords (car spares store) (http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_details.asp?id=20354&type=0&cat=138) and it looked pretty good. It is a little thick but the screen is big and clear and perfect for GPS navigation.

Cool. It looks like the Sagem has another name. Nice!
