Once WiFi is embedded into the device, VoIP will become a killer application. Of course, you could use VoIP over GPRS, but current speeds could cause this to be a painful process. I have no interest in replacing my regular voice calls while I'm out and about. However, when I'm at home or in the office, I would like to see my calls routed over the the WiFi network. :)

The thing I would like to see sooner than skype on wifi enabled smartphones is an app tha makes it possible to remote controll and use skype on my BT enabled Laptop/computer via the BT on my smartphone.
This wwould be a killer app, converting the smartphone into a handset in your house :D
