ZigBee is one of the wireless data transmission solutions with home networking automation function. The company said that the new phone, which combined TTS(text to speech) phone with ZigBee solution, is a futuristic ubiquitous phone that can turn on and off lights and PCs and control humidity, temperature as well as security at home and offices. ZigBee technology is well suited to a wide range of building automation, industrial, medical and residential control &amp; monitoring applications. Essentially, applications that require interoperability and/or the RF performance characteristics of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard would benefit from a ZigBee solution."</i><br /><br />Great! Another short range wireless standard. We still haven't seen wide spread adoption of WiFi or Bluetooth in handsets, and they are already working on implementing something else.
