If you live in Australian and are 34 year old or less, the answer mostly likely would be text message. Yep, Aussies don’t long for Christmas cards—according to a recent survey commissioned by Motorola Australia, 50 percent of all 16-34 year olds said they would prefer a fun holiday SMS to a paper card, and 70 percent said they planned to send holiday text messages."</i><br /><br />Anyone here care to weigh in on this one?

While text would be the mode of convenience, I think that the tangible nature of a traditional Christmas card carries more weight (haha! No pun intended).

The handwriting, the little doddles and the knowledge that someone went out of their way to get a card into the letterbox shows effort on the part of the sender and breeds appreciation in the heart of the recipient.

Just my 2p worth.

At this point in the voting I'd say most agree with you :)

e-Cards are all I send anymore. My parents, and the odd family member gets a card, but all my friends get e-cards. I wouldn't say that it reflects a lack of caring or anything like that. I find it takes longer to find the right e-card and customize it, than it does for me to go pick out a paper card and mail it.

But, what do I know... I'm in the minority, as the poll clearly indicates.

Now thats a good point Mike, I've had so much trouble trying to pick out an Ecard because there are so many and then think of something write on it. I just give up and send nothing.
