What is the address for text messages?

Is my address my phone number? I need to set up syncing when new items arrive and it says I must enter my address for text messages.

The address for text messaging is the cell phone number with area code.

For international number it is "+CountryCodeAreaCodePhoneNumber".

You don't need the quote ("). But the plus (+) is needed.

Edit: Corrected the above statement. Quote is not needed.
