Even if it has a urban legend feel to it. Apparently, the owner now has his phone back. Although, I'm not sure I would want it back. :?

That story is actually a commercial we had on German TV a few years ago - when having a cell phone was still considered cool, and having a small cell phone was considered super-super-cool. I'm not sure, but it might have been a Sony commercial. (From before the SE era)
