I just got my Audiovox SMT5600. I have a few questions.

1) How much free storage do I get without a Mini SD card? I was under the impression I would get the 32MB RAM

2) How do I sync music using WMP10? When I try, it says not enough free space (of course, this may be answered by my first question).

Thanks.

Ok. Here's something weird:

When I connect to phone to WMP10, it shows the profiles, Temp, and Windows folders, but not the Storage folder. The Storage folder is where all the data needs to go.

However, if I access the smart phone through My Computer, I can see the Storage folder and copy music to it. Is there something special I have to do so it will work with WMP10?

Now, for another problem. I'm having trouble aquiring a license for my MSN Music bought protected music. When I try to play, it tells me "aquiring license", then Internet Explorer opens and never goes to a page.

I asked this same question when I got the phone a week or so ago.

The memory is 'available' but only available to run applications. HTC could have made that memory available for storage, but would have sacrificed the overall speed of the phone and application reliability.

So when I get my miniSD card, will WMP10 see this as available storage?

Yes, WMP will see your mini-SD card as storage.

With only 250 contacts, many without addresses, my 5600 reports 27.98mb of Flash Storage, and only 368kb free. It was at 358kb fee before I got the contacts down from 563 to the 250±.

I have erased everything via Space Maker and still find no improvements. Any advise?

Yes, WMP will see your mini-SD card as storage.

By default, all the data from WMP10 is soted in the mSD.
