It’s about the size of one of Sony Ericsson’s T610’s, with maybe a millimeter more in height. The screen is a very large 2.2”, noticeably bigger than the Motorola MPx220’s 2.0” screen. The screen is bright and clear, easily visible in direct sunlight."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20041022-PhoneMagReviewSMT5600-WMP.bmp" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Phonemag.com has posted a review on Audiovox's new Windows Mobile based SMT5600 Smartphone. They've included a couple pictures comparing it with a Sony Ericsson T610. I'm surprised to see just how close these two are in size. :D

I noticed that it was mentioned that the phone was able to synch with Active Synch via Bluetooth. I have been told that the phone cannot do this. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

I use BT to ActiveSync at home because I took my USB-sync cable to work for my non-BT PC there. :)

Works great!

I wanted to add a bit on the reception issue.

Today I tried it out in a place where my V600 would drop all calls.
Even though the number of bars were down to one or none, the call still stayed till the end.

Great stuff!!!

As for battery life. (using Resco Battery State)
I'm down to 80% from a full charge after a day. About 18 min of talk. 20 min of GPRS. And BT on all the time.

Yeah, the whole making good sounding calls with ZERO signal bars really weirds me out. :)

I wish WM Smartphone 2003 had a feature to actually show the db that your phone was receiving, like many other phones do...
