Custom t9

I was wondering if there was any way on the i600 to add entries to the t9 db, so that it would be easier to t9 words that are specific to my work without having to jump between modes?

Living in New Mexico I have to deal with a lot of Spanish and Indian names not recognized by t9. The following works for me:

In abc mode type out the word to be added

Change to t9 and then put in a space after the word you want to add

Continue in t9 mode (important step)

There is also a t9 editor around somewhere but I think you have Microsoft.net framework to use it. Someone around here should know.

I haven't tried this one. The last time I tried a T9 editor app it didnt work for my phone's T9 database (MPx200 with SP2002). And as Santa Fe mentioned the app required .NET on the desktop. But this one does not seem to have any such requirement. So I am guessing this is an update or a new app altogether.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
