<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.windowsmobiletraining.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.windowsmobiletraining.com/</a><br /><br /></div>More cool news! We have just received word that <a href="http://www.windowsmobiletraining.com/">Windows Mobile Training</a> has <i>"the MPx220, T-mobile SDA, T-mobile XDA III and other phones"</i> listed on their web site. <br /><br />The Windows Mobile Training site is a training site for US employees who sell Windows Mobile devices. Because of this, the site requires registration which usually is no biggie. However, they ask you to enter a company name and they check it against a list of companies that are known to be selling these devices. :( I faked my way to see both Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility listed, but then it wants me to enter store location info. So I can't go any further. I'm sure that those company names are just regional listings and if I was coming from the US I would have seen different company names.<br /><br />Any of you had to login to this site? Can you share with us what "other phones" are listed? If you don't want to post in this thread for fear of employer backlash, you can always use the <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/submit.php"><b>Submit News</b></a> link at the top of the page to provide us with anonymous tips. Email also works well, send it to news@ and one of us will post the info in this thread. :D<br /><br /><b>Update:</b> We've obtained a copy of the flash demo. You can view it by clicking <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20041003-NewPhone_Flash.swf">here.</a> :)

I would have faked my way further, but then I noticed that it is using my Passport Sign-In to register me, that will give my identity away.

Please..Please..Please can someone confirm this...for me the competitor to MPx220 is the T-Mobile SDA (Music). Why? Because compared to the Audiovox SMT5600 (C500) it has the joystick.

I faked my way in a few months ago, but after I ordered something, I got an email requiring a copy of a pay stub or something similar to prove that I actually work for a qualified company. Sorry!

I just looked. It also lists the Orange SPV C500 and Qtek 8010 in the display. MI think that they are listing all the new phones, not just the ones coming to the US. I wouldn't necessarily say that this is confirmation that T-Mobile US will carry the SDA.

So I signed up, and other than a FLASH thingie showing all sorts of Smartphones, I didn't see any specific info on the SDA at all.

Two cool things:

1 - the FLASH thingie did show the T-Mobile SDA and the homescreen was in English

2 - they have a 'News' area on the site to "find out what's happening throughout the mobile world", and Smartphone Thought is at the very top. (Oddly enough, no MSMOBILES.COM) .. :) RSS feed? Anyway, congrats guys!

Here's a quick screenshot of their News area: http://www.blipnet.net/misc-images/smartphonethoughts.JPG

We've obtained a copy of the flash demo! For all of you who can't login, check the original post in this thread for a link to the flash demo.

 You're making me blush! Seriously, I'm pretty excited to hear this. However, in reality, it's all of you (our readers) that make SPT what it is. So, Thank You! :D

Very exciting times and I must say - FINALLY!

Now... to wait until the end of October (for Arne's) or until when? for something in the US?

I betcha the SDA will cost less than the 220 - so I'm thinkin' that I'll get an SDA - which is OK cuz I'm already a T-Mo loyal customer

Why is the title of this thread "T-Mobile SDA Coming Soon to US Retailers"?

Perhaps I missed something, but I just looked at all the posts on this thread, and see none that justifies such a title, certainly no such announcement from T-Mobile USA.

Some of us are just excited to see a picture of the SDA with an English home screen on a site that gives product training to folks who sell Windows Mobiles in the Americas.

You're exactly right -- there's no official word -- but this is probably the biggest thing outside of that that would indicate it's more than likely going to make it to the US.
