Hey,

I have the SPV E200, and have seen various reports on t'internet about these SDIO wireless cards you can get, but I'm curious as to if the E200 will support it? it's got an SDIO slot and its smartphone 2003 so in theory it should work, it would be nice to know that i could be at a tube station or hotspot and could connect up wirelessly through my phone.

Nope. It won't work. Windows Mobile for Pocket PC is similar to Windows Mobile for Smartphone, but not the same. To my knowledge, no one has ported their WiFi drivers to the smartphone platform yet.

We've done a number of Front Page posts on this. So, if you're looking form more info just do a search of the Front Page Archive for WiFi (or Wi-Fi) and you should get a number of articles and polls that we've run.

Thanks, I tried a search on SD and wireless but that brought back lots and lots of results for me to go through, I know how annoying it is when people post questions before searchin the archives.

No, no, no... Well, it can be annoying, but that's not why I mentioned searching. Usually I will dig out the URL, but in this case, there are so many key events, and I was in a rush to get out of the house this morning.

Here's a couple of the key posts:
