From what I can gather, it is based on the Qtek 8010/C500 specs, but with a different keypad and a true joystick. They are also claiming that this phone will be released before the end of this year.

I think this phone has a big "Sony Ericsson" look to it. What do you think? Someone please end this T-o-r-t-u-r-e.

- C500 (i-Mate/Dopod/Qtek versions as well) has launched, yet it is not available in US :-(
- MPx220 is almost here...but not quite :-(
- The price for 1GB SD card has come down to $100 and I can't buy it (have to wait for mini-SD) :-(

Now this new cool looking phone has been announced. :-(
And I have to make do with a SP 2002 phone and no BT. :-(

I love the timing. May people are ready to put their hard earned cash down on a brand new iMate3 or Moto. Both of which should be available shortly. And then out of no where, BAM. 2 new phones, and both to be shipping before the end of the year. What to do? Wait??

To me, "Before the end of 2004" would mean late October, or early November. You want the phone to be out for the holiday season. Shipping the phone in Early December is too late, and you won't get the end of year purchases.

Hey!
Do I hear whining because we FINALLY are going to see some devices on the market? :D No... I welcome these and many, many more Windows Mobile-based devices to choose from. 8)

I'm not whining! I love the selection, and the way it has been handled. We only just learned about it, and it's already ready for release by T-Mobile! I hate the way Motorola has handled the MPx series of devices. At least the c500 was better, and now this is the best.

Things are really shaping up for Q4. I'm really excited about it too. :rock on dude!:

I impressed with what HTC is doing. They have two amazing models and have signed up reseller deals with a whole bunch of companies. Smart!
