I'd rather have a dictionary on my SD card instead of using an internet connection. Any recommendations?

Sure, there is Lextionary - English Dictionary 2.0 (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=43) and eDictionary Reader SP 1.0 (http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=766). I'm sure that there are more, and I'm willing to bet that you could find a free one if you searched around a little.

My personal choice would be lextionary, but try them out and make sure they work on your device before you buy one.
