<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://msmobiles.com/news.php/2950.html' target='_blank'>http://msmobiles.com/news.php/2950.html</a><br /><br /></div>MSMobiles.com has posted a comparison between the Motorola MPx220 and the Orange C500/Qtek 8010/iMate3. What I find really interesting is the physical comparison. The C500 is smaller is every way possible, except when you fold up the MPx220. Then the 220 is a little shorter, but it's still taller and wider!<br /><br />If you're wondering which of these phones has a better feature set for your needs, this comparison will surely help. For me, size matters.

WOW - the C500 stacks up nicely.. I didn't realize that it would be taht small yet have a larger sceren display. Still - I ant to get a way from the candy bar...

I betcha the MPX220 is also going to be more expensive - sigh. Well what can you do?

Anyone have a clue on what the costs for these are going to be? I can't find any hint of MSRP (with or without contract)...

waiting for the end of september... i hate waiting but it's going to be here before I know it. all I have to do is not think about it - LMAO - yeah like thats gonna happen!

I found this post (http://www.msmobiles.com/news.php/2953.html) on MSMobiles.com interesting too. Talks about the type memory used in MPx220 and C500. According to the article, the C500 has a faster memory, hence will result in faster performance.

Looks like the iMate will be here before the MPx220! http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=40830

Wow - that C500 does look nice. The price comparison should be interesting.

Too bad that it doesn't have 850MHz band though... that may seal the deal for ATTWS customers. 8)

Apples to apples, I think I prefer the MPx220, primarily due to the 220's larger carmera and quad band (although I'm not sure if I'd even NEED quad band).

However, I have been waiting (in need of) an MS Smartphone 2003 device with the GSM 850 band and Bluetooth for so long now, really whichever one becomes availible first is the one I will probably buy.

Don't get me wrong, the iMate SP3 is no slouch, especially with its faster memory, smaller size, and mini-usb connector.

Anyone have any costs on either one of these yet?

I'm worried about RF. The MPx200 was way weaker than most phones, while previous HTCs were as strong as Nokia 3650's (one of the best). Earlier reports are that the C500 does as well as the older HTCs. Wonder if Moto will do any better with the MPx220?

Clamshell, megapixel camera, quad band, 262K transflective TFT.
