I think it's safe to say that this phone will reach the North American market one way or another. Moto-who?
The site is taking pre-orders now and it will be in stock in September. That is before MPx220 hits the stores. Moto will not even know what hit them. If only Moto had released the legal WM2003 for MPx200, some of the customers would have waited for MPx220. Moto is going to pay big time for toying with our emotions by leaking pictures, phones and not announcing a firm release date. Now only the ones (like me) who want Quad Band will wait for the MPx220. Sigh! :-(

In North America, unless a carrier picks up the new HTC phone, I don't think it's going to hurt Moto at all. The HTC phone will be expensive for the masses w/o a subsidy. :(

Interesting to see a C500 bug list already going:

Looks like Orange is going to have a big PR issue when the phone comes out.

It is the kind of stuff that will mar Microsoft's growth prospects in the Smartphone market. Every single Smartphone has been plagued by some major bug at release time. And carriers have only botched it up. But Orange is the only carrier that has put out frequent updates and the most committed among the Smartphone carriers, so I am expecting them to resolve this issue in the coming days or weeks.

And hoping that Qtek and iMate will not have this problem.

Good News everyone, the Worlds smallest smartphone will be coming to America under the vastly growing i-Mate brand name through the exclusive i-Mate distributors Sound Solutions Americas LLC. The USA will see the i-Mate Smartphone 3 (SP3) landing for release early September. Pre orders are currently being taken.

FWIW, it'd be nice to see general pre-order information (i.e. a price) without having to create an account.
