External display says "searching"?

Just bought the MPX200 and absolutely love it. Would like more battery life, however, I just returned from a trip where I roamed to TMobile's area (I'm ATT) but when I got back, my external display continues to say "searching" and then the time. Anyone had this issue? The book, of course, doesn't address anything about the external display but what the icons mean. Otherwise, the phone is working great.

Not sure what to tell you here. I don't have a MPx200, but when my phone says searching, it is having a problem picking up my carriers signal. Have you powered it off and back on?
