If you live in the UK you can get your Smartphone SPV C500 for free if you sign up for a subscription. Most mobile network operator carrying Windows Mobile-based Smartphones charge for the phone plus require a subscription. Only the cheaper/dumber cell phone models end up on the "Free" shelf. In fact, I haven't seen "free" Windows Mobile-based Smartphones anywhere else before. If more carriers follow I am sure this will open up the market even more.

8O That's an amazing deal. This could stand to make a huge impact on the Smartphone market. A lot of my friends get the free phone when they sign up. So this would mean they can get the free one, and there will be a name they recognize waiting for them: Windows.
