The Mobile Phone Gaming Alliance (MPGA), which hounds gaming firms into producing games for mobile phones, reported that 65% of mobile phone users were 'outraged'. ...MPGA's President, Rood Bluster, said, 'I can't believe yet another software company is ignoring the growing mobile phone gaming market. We are gamers too, and we're tired of Tetris and Bejeweled.'"</i><br /><br />Are you kidding me! These people actually think that Doom 3 should be playable on a mobile phone. Hello... anyone home in there? This game won't run on the majority of computers already on the market. But magically it should be playable on your mobile phone. Doom 2 was the same way when it was released. The most powerful systems only. Give it time, you'll be able to play it on your phone, some day.<br /><br /><b>UPDATE:</b> Ok, I just learned that BBSpot is a Satire site. Who's a sucker? Right here! You got me.

The people at the MPGA are idiots. This almost sounds like a hoax it's so ridiculous, yet they seemingly think that a game so bleeding edge that it requires a $500 video card should be playable on a PHONE....!?! I'm all for great mobile games, but please...this is just stupidity.

When I started reading, I thought it was a joke. I'm glad you made the comments you did at the end or I would have. Besides...if one more game is released for the Smartphone, I'm going to scream! I need more useful apps!

Thanks goes out to Janak Parekh from our sister site, PPCT (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com), who was kind enough to inform me that BBStop is a Satire site. I thought it seemed a little far fetched.

That's what I get for posting news in such a rush.

Yes - it's essentially a tech version of The Onion (www.theonion.com). ;) Lots of great articles there. If you've never read BBspot before, now's a great time to start. :)
