Here is a tip to add to your smartphone's Internet Explorer folder without typing in URLs with the smartphone key pad.

Go to your PC's Internet Explorer favorites folder. For XP, it is: C:\Documents and Settings\YourComputerName\Favorites. YourComputerName will be whatever you called your computer. Copy the favorites that you want to add to your smartphone.

Using ActiveSync's Explore button, paste them to the \IPSM\Windows\Favorites folder.

If you wish, you can paste them into a folder like News, or Search to make navigation of the Favorites folder a bit easier.

Thanks Bugwart! I have moved your tip to the Tips n' Tricks forum, since it's not just for Samsung phones.

Another way to add links to your Smartphone is to copy a link into your Outlook's Tasks.

Once your tasks have been synced to your Smartphone you can open the task, open the link and then save it to your Favorites.

Looks like http://aws.startwindowsmobile.com/ and http://cingular.startwindowsmobile.com/ are both down. Did anyone ever get them to work more than once or know of another site that does this?

I thought it was a clean way to get a few chores done all at once.
