Yeah, Tek 'n Toys had a glitch whereby they only had a quantity of ten, so when ten of you ordered the phone, poof, it became unavailable. That's good in a way, because it means that the system doesn't allow for orders beyond what's in stock, but in this case because it's a pre-order, it made no sense.

The quantities have been refreshed and you can place your pre-order. As soon as I find out the pricing info, I'll post that as well.

saja - you are comparing apples to oranges - the Smartphone OS and the PPCPE OS are 2 entirely different devices - focused on different needs/uses. If you need more of the PocketPC functionality, then PPCPE is the OS for you. If you are focusing use more on a phone with limited data requirements (interaction with data on the device) then the Smartphone is a platform of choice.

Does that make sense/help out at all?

Actually it makes plenty of sense. Any idea if the mpx300 is going to be a ppc type device?

MPx300 or MPx will be based on Pocket PC Phone Edition (Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition).

And what is the approximate price of these mpx220 beauties ?

Duh. Two weeks ago I bought a V600 for myself, and a mpx200 for the wife.
