page scroll in contact list?

Has anybody found a shortcut for scrolling through your Contacts list by page instead of line by line? I have a pretty long contact list that I don't want to break into groups. Any advice would be great.

If you know the name you are looking for the easy way is to type a few letters of the name and that contact is found.

righty-o, that does work great. Sometimes I'd like to be able to just scroll through my contacts quickly too - when I'm in traffic and just want somebody to entertain me, when I'm looking for a babysitter, etc...any other ideas?
