The screen is outstanding and the unit works both for voice and high speed data on Verizon's 1xRTT Express Network. Unlike the Motorola MPx200, the i600 supports SDIO for wireless networking cards, GPS and more (when MS Smartphone drivers become available for these cards)."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/i600_open.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />PDA Buyers Guide has done a pretty detailed review of the i600. Pretty good review. I use the i600 and am pretty happy with it. I'm sure it will be much better with 2003.

I, also, use the i600 and am very pleased with it. As a matter of fact, I find that I am leaving my Ipaq at home more and more often, unless I need it for GPS purposes. I don't see any innacuracies in the review.

I love my i600 and do not regret my swtich from the MPx to the Samsung. The Moto is cooler looking and I love the meeting profile which switched the ringer off and on based on my calendar (shame on Samsung for not thinking of that), but I just couldn't take the lousy ATT service. Combine the MPx's one drawback- not always finding a signal that other GSM phones could find- with ATT's horrible coverage in western Washington and it was easy to say goodbye.

The i600 is easier to dial and the screen is brighter, and it comes with a spare large capacity battery. I am looking forward to WM 2003 too and hope it will include that missing meeting profile.

I even sold off my Jornada Pocket PC and am now a happy carrier of a convergence product (that almost sounds like I have a disease).

As anyone knows who reads this forum I really like the i600. It needs a screen that I can read while on my horse and it needs more software (any note taking software out there?) but I've replaced an LG cellphone, HP 568 and a laptop with it. It is almost always with me and has the "read only" function of all my necessary data. And it is a great phone.

The only drawback is that now that my pockets and hands are free I started carrying a Sony T1 camera as well.
