This gives you a simple walkthrough on how to do this but if it continues, then it sounds like you will have to wait for the next update (iOS 5.1 is currently in Beta) to see if that solves the problem. For me, it isn't happening all that often. It is mainly when I have too many tabs open so I think that is probably the root cause.&nbsp;</p>

I've seen a lot of this behavior the last couple of weeks, and it's maddening. Even Mail (usually pretty solid and robust) simply decides to disappear, in the middle of doing stuff. Often, probably too many things open, and, this still is a DOT ZERO release, after all.

Happens occasionally on Safari but frequently with the Facebook app. The latter has more to do with the app sucking

I was just thinking this morning of doing some Bingling to find out what was going on with my iPad. I'm noticing constant crashing, mostly in the Twitter client, Safari, and other native apps. Last night even did a full shutdown and the crashes started happening again.

I'm hoping for a patch to sort this out.
