The SGH-250 will be a clamshell model with a main screen at the standard 176-by-220-pixel resolution on one side and a keypad on the other. It will also have a smaller outer display. This is the first Windows Mobile smart phone to appear that will include a 1 megapixel camera with a flash."<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Samsung_SGH-250.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />It appears that this handset will also have Bluetooth, J2ME Java 2.0, 32 Meg RAM, 64 Meg ROM, miniSD, and GSM on 900/1800/1900MHz. Sounds like a nice feature set, maybe this will be the clamshell that I get my feet wet on.

Ya, I'm a little surprised that they would do that. Since the i600 has SD (doesn't it??). So it seems odd that they would go with something different. I'm hoping it was a mistake, and the specs will turn out to be SD, but that's not likely. :(

Good to see that Samsung hasn't given up on the WM Smartphone platform after all. Although why Samsung would not be doing another CDMA version of WM smartphones also is something I can't figure out. After all CDMA is what Samsung cut their teeth on. Still waiting for more CMDA WM Smartphones ... Sigh ...

it is SD-Mini (according to the stand info and techie on hand) - unfortunately they wouldn't let the handset out of the display box to 'have a feel' of it... the two units on display were switched it was off and cocooned away from visitors fingers :(

it's not just mini-SD... Moto had handsets with T-Flash, Sony Ericsson with MemoryStick Duo and Nokia & Siemens with Reduced sized MMC cards - is there no end to the memory card formats being released/implemented :x

although at least they are providing adapters to 'super size' the new smaller version cards up to the original form factors, but unfortunately getting large sizes will bean riding a new wave of release cycles :(

:twak: The Sony Ericsson & MemoryStick one doesn't surprise me, but the rest of you! argh.
