The phone will be manufactured by Mitac and the specs are similar to the 8390. It appears that the phone is to be announced around the end of March and made available in May.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/sagem_s2004_599Small.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/>

My very first cell phone was a Sagem. That piece of trash stopped working after two months (I did not drop it, I did not hit it!) - all I can say is that I will never ever buy a Sagem phone again. No matter how nice and cheap a device.

Has anybody ever had any GOOD experience with Sagem?

Hmm....a little too early to say whether or not this is a good phone. ;-)

I can't comment Sagem's history since I am not familiar with them. However, quality problems may be why they have Mitac sourced to manufacture these devices. Mitac has a pretty good rep for making a solid device.
