One Pocket PC Phone Edition, and one Smartphone.

The MPx100 Smartphone features: Bluetooth 1.3 Megapixel camera with a flash and 3x zoom 64MB flash ROM Windows Mobile for Smartphone 2003
This is a fantastic feature-set! I'm a little dissapointed that this isn't a clam-shell device like the MPx200. I've really become a fan of the form factor. That certainly isn't going to prevent me from drooling over this phone! This device has got everything that people have been asking for from a Smartphone. More details from Motorola are available here. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

The MPx Pocket PC Phone Edition is going to be the Treo-killer. Camera, QWERTY keyboard, WiFi and Bluetooth are loaded onto this clam-shell device. It also supports portrait and landscape modes. More details can be found here.

The device innovations keep coming. This year should be very interesting!

The MPx100 PDF talks about Optional WiFi (and also GPS). Does this mean Wifi SD Card Drivers will be available for Moto Phones 8O

Cool

More Wow...The MPx Pocket PC Phone Edition's external display will allow you to select MP3 music without opening the shell 8O This device is going after Treo, Nokia Communicator and iPod, all at the same time !!

Wow.. can't say I was expecting the 64 MB!!

Agreed on the clamshell form factor though. Here's hoping the 220 turns up with similar specs!

You know, these product annoucements are great and all, but I wanna know which cell provider is carrying these bloody things!!!

Any company that's offering the MPx100 gets my business, hands down. I hope it's T-Mobile, but only cuz that's who I'm with right now.

I get the feeling that that SD slot is SDIO, given the "optional wifi" accessories mentioned in the PDF, but that's just me taking a wild guess.

Anyone else wondering what took a cell manufacturer so long to put mpxl quality cameras in phones, when they've had that in Japan for years??? Wutup wit dat?

Clamshell? :P I like this the way it is. The camera & Bluetooth are nice features. I think Motorola has done an exceptional job with design and features. :way to go: I hope this isn't the end of things either. I'm really looking forward to what else they are going to come up with in the future. Built in GPS, 128 Meg, WiFi, etc.... all with the Motorola stylin'. :werenotworthy:

Where is that drool icon when we need it.

The MPx Pocket PC Phone Edition is going to be the Treo-killer.

More than a Treo killer its an i500 (Samsung) killer! The Treo is way overrated for the huge brick that it is. I wouldn't be caught dead carrying one (Is that a cell phone you are carrying or are you so happy to see me 8O ) I think the Motorola MPx would be perfect replacement for the i500 which is till now the only phone form factor PDA with a touch screen (No the Treo isn't a phone form factor device, nor is the P800). A phone needs to be small like a phone not some ugly cross over from a PDA IMHO. Then you might as well carry a PDA. But then thats just me. In any case I'm drooling over this MPx and might seriously consider buying it.

Anyone knows what the dimensions of this device are?

MPx100 seems to be very beatiful and looks like Sony Ericsson T630. I like its style very much!
