I loved the first one. But I am usually a little disappointed with sequels. They never really come close to the magic of the original.

HOWEVER, this trailer looks really Really REALLY good. July 2nd, eh. Just 2 days before my anniversary. What are the chances I can do dinner and this movie? :D

The effects seem so much better. On the same site as the trailer, you can watch some of the making of the film. The daytime swinging scenes look awsome! The actually swung cameras thru the city. Unbelievably great looking.

I play the xbox version of the game over and over. Sometimes just swinging thru the city. I have always been disappointed that you cant get down to street level. I hope the accompaning game is better than the first as well.

My 4 year old son is a Spiderman FREAK! When you ask who he wants to be when he grows up he says....SPIDERMAN.

I cant wait for the movie...more so for how excited he will be when he sees it. DOC OC is already in his vocabulary. This will be a good one. The best superhero series by far over any brought to film.

I waited 10 years for the first to come out. On again, off again. At one point I remember Nicholas Cage was supposed to play Peter Parker/Spiderman. Toys were hyped years before the movie ever came to be. I hope this carries on for a few more films and I hope there is no unmentioned actor change where someone like Matt Daemon is all of a sudden Spiderman....al la the Batman series.

My only wish is that they get rid of Mary Jane. I think she doesnt do the part justice. But I am glad to see the return of Betty Brant http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0006969/ who had waaaaay too small a part in the first movie.

Come on July 2nd!

I am glad that the powers that be decided against this. Cage hasn't had a good movie in a while, and he doesn't fit the role like Toby.

I read in the paper last week that they are already working on Spiderman #3. Should be out in 2007.

Here's a link to a short blurb about it (http://www.killermovies.com/s/spiderman3/articles/3733.html)
