As a provider of enterprise-class wireless messaging, personal information management and corporate data, the company is making inroads on market leader Research in Motion (RIM) and its BlackBerry product line."<br /><br />With this move on the Pocket PC platform, it's reasonable to assume that we may see this slide over to the Smartphone platform - if they've got a Windows Mobile compatible solution worked out, it's mostly a matter of re-tooling the UI, and getting Smartphone OEMs to include the necessary hardware - or would the only requirement be GPRS? I know that RIM is moving away from their pager-network approach and into the realm of GPRS, but what's the Good hardware solution look like? I know very little about them. Anyone in the know?

And why would I need this product? I assume it allows me to get IM, read and connect to email, files etc... I'm a bit confused as to what this offers that the PocketPC doesn't already offer.

You can sync to a server via the phone edition so does this actually help you navigate your file structure - sort of a "mreote control" where gathering files from your profile or server file system is concerned?
