In other words, an application that dials, pauses, enters keystrokes, etc etc and than transfers control to the user.Anyone know of any way to do this either with builtin functions or third party apps?? Thanks..

Just save your voice mail number in Outlook with ppp (for pause) between the appropriate waits. For instance 505xxxxxxxpppxxxxxxxppxxxx where the x represents the vm service phone number, my phone number and then my password.

Saving its own contact is a good idea. If you try to modify the number the preset-VM button dials, it gets reset when you restart the phone.

This is an excellent tip, I use a telephone banking service and it was always a pain getting through to my account before I did whatever I wanted. Cheers :)

If you take your sim and place it in a different phone (not a smartphone), you can go into Messages/Voicemail/Voicemail Setup/Voicemail Number (I think thats the correct settings) and after the number enter between one and three p's and then enter your password. Save it and your done. When you take out your sim and place it back into your smartphone, just hold down on the 1 key and it should take you right to your voicemail. Hope this helps.
