The Jornada is great but the phone/Sprint are terrible. I've put up with it until now but with number portability in place I'm ready to move. I find I don't use my Pocket PC for much more than basic PIM functions and I'm wondering if a smartphone would be the way to go. I have three concerns, though (1) I have a lot of information I need to access readily in the form of contact and appointment details and I wonder about data field and physical memory limits... where is a good source to learn about Pocket Outlook for Smartphone?(2) I am desperate for easy sync and was hoping Bluetooth would be ubiquitous now, but I don't see any Bluetooth Smartphones... any thoughts on that?(3) I'm concerned about the display and the size of text. How does it compare to Pocket PC? I have poor vision and the size of the text on the Pocket PC is my limit. Is text on the smartphone any smaller than text on the Pocket PC?I'm in NJ and probably going to go with AT&T or Verizon wireless. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,Joe K.

Is a good start. And so is:

The smartphone is a compromise as far as the PDA functions go. But one small device that I tend to have with me more than I did the PDA.

Be warned that the screen is almost unreadable in bright sunlight if that is a factor in your decision.
