JAMDAT's existing investors include Apax Partners, Qualcomm, Intel and Sun Microsystems."

"JAMDAT Mobile will use the additional capital to enhance its portfolio of top-selling applications and expand its worldwide distribution. The Company -- which achieved profitability earlier this year -- has previously secured publishing and licensing agreements with major interactive entertainment companies, movie studios and sports leagues. This year the Company also opened its European office in London and acquired Hexacto Games of Montreal, Canada."

Through Hexacto, JAMDAT is responsible for many of the best Smartphone games to date including Links, Slurp, Tennis Addict, and Lemonade Tycoon. I've never been disappointed by a JAMDAT game and can't wait to see what they end up doing with this funding.
