OpenNETCF.org is looking for beta testers to use their new "Smart Device Framework" that ties together all of the things they have created so far.

"The Smart Device Framework is an application framework which enriches and extends the .NET Compact Framework. There are a lot of new class libraries and controls in there and I'm very excited about it. Also contained in the Smart Device Framework are all the existing class libraries and controls available from www.opennetcf.org. By providing a unified framework, we at OpenNETCF.org are seeking to improve the overall development experience using the components that we supply.

Some of the highlights in this beta release are: 10+ Windows Forms controls for Windows CE, Pocket PC, and Smartphone, including a ColorDialog, Signature control, and owner-drawn listbox
Wrappers for common Win32 API functions
Many new class libraries, including: XmlSerializer, MarshalEx, ConfigurationSettings, FileSystemWatcher, ConnectionManager, Notification
Integration into Visual Studio .NET to deliver a similar development to the .NET Compact Framework. If you are interested in beta testing the Smart Device Framework, please complete our nomination survey at http://beta.opennetcf.org/register.aspx"
