With bluetooth, a built in camera, and the latest version of the operating system, this is one heck of a phone. Every report I've seen from people who have had the chance to use this device have been very positive and say that it's a big step up from the first two devices on the SPV line. For those outside of the UK, you can order this device through Tek 'n Toys [Affiliate] to get a SIM-unlocked version that will work on any other GSM network (AT&T, T-Mobile, Cingular, ...).

Edit: I moved this post.

Just got my E200 today thanks to a phone call from Orange. It's charging at the moment. Orange also gave me lots of goodies as well, as it's comming up to christmas. I can't wait to try it out drool.

I was wondering though if there would be any problem using ActiveSync with it along with my iPAQ 2210 i'll just have to wait and try it I guess.

Snap! got mine today too. The gifts are cool, saves me spending money on the rest of the family this christmas

You should have no problem using both your Pocket PC and Smartphone through activesync - the only issue is you can only sync one device at a time so if you have both cradles hooked up permanently the first device connected with sync with ActiveSync. So you'll need to cradle one device at a time to sync with both.

I have a question, someone like Tek 'n Toys sells you an unbranded handset that is unlocked, yet Microsoft says the wireless carriers are responsible for sending out bugifixes, patches, upgrades, etc. Does this mean you are stuck with the current ROM for all time if you go this route?

Way too expensive. When it drops to $250 - $300, I'll go for it.

Heh, I just emailed them asking about availability ... I guess I should have scrolled all the way down. I forgot to check QTek on their site since after all they are making them

At $623 CDN that makes it almost $450 less than Tek n Toys. 8O

Cheers Peter

I've just started to experiment with the phone this morning and it appears to charge through USB in the cradle which is nice.

Must play with phone some more.

Wow...$482?! How can they sell them for nearly HALF the price of Tek-n-Toys? I know the availability is 21 days, but that will be nearly Christmas and some money will have come in by then.

Oh, wait, now the $#%#ing price is $603. How lovely. Still cheaper than Gouge-n-toys, but WAY too much for a little phone I'm probably going to drop. Sad, really, I was looking forward to getting one of these.

I won't do business with either Expansys or Tek 'N' Toys... Businesses should make a profit, but this is ridiculous...
