http://www.cnn.com

I just got an IM from Neil Enns, a lead program manager in the mobile devices group at Microsoft, pointing out that there are Windows Mobile ads featuring the MPx200 Smartphone on the front page of CNN.com and MSNBC.com. Earlier today, I spotted a full page Verizon ad for the i600 Smartphone in USA Today. It's very cool to see these getting high visibility in the US - especially after we waited so long for them to become available! Where have you seen Smartphones being advertised?

My favourite "where I've seen it" story is when I was walking through the San Francisco airport after the user group tour stop there. I was getting ready to board the plane and noticed a lady sitting reading the sports section of USA Today. The whole back page was an AT&T MPX200 ad. I was so excited! :D

Not 'typical' advertising, but I thought it was pretty cool to see BillG pull the Moto MPx200 out of his pocket and talk about it during his keynote speech at COMDEX. :D
