Just a point of clarification since I've seen a few of you asking about this: the new Motorola MPx200 uses a Texas Instruments OMAP710 ARM processor, with a dedicated DSP as well. There's no Intel Inside on this phone.

Thanks Jason! I was digging around the FCC notes on the device and didn't find the details.

No problem. Someone else actually emailed me the info and requested that I post it, because there does seem to be some confusion about it.

I hope, however, that the Moto phone uses a FASTER processor, because the SPV is kind of a dog... :?

Until the Motorola announcement, many speculated that the Chi Mei phone was being made for Motorola. Since the announcement, I've seen no references to Chi Mei in this group or others.

Anyone know if this is the same phone? :?:

It is the same phone. if you visit the FCC site you'll notice is the exact same device. you can see the details from phonescoop (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?id=315) and they provide a link to the FCC site and their details.
