Yes, it is possible to put your own video into a SD card and play it on the SPV.
I will try to find some time to put ALL the tutorials in english. Because there is several tutorials, with different settings
You can even manage to put an entire film on a 128Mb SD card, it's still OK.
Also: possible to play AVI movies. You need a specific player, here:

This is to play DIVX movies.
