One of the major things I am looking for right now in a phone is bluetooth. I will be picking up one of the new PPCs this fall, and would like bluetooth so that I can connect to the net on my device.

I know there are SD slots on the phones, and that there are SD bluetooth cards available, but are there drivers floating around?

There are 2 problems related to taht as far as I know:
(1) in order to have an SDIO card working (wifi or bluetooth), teh device need to have an SDIO slot (which they do) but also have and "SDIO Now" enabled firmware, which they don't :(
(2) you need driver as you said, but I have see none for smartphone due to the above problem.
maybe WM2003SP will solve this, but then the smartphone will be bluetooth anyway

When is Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone supposed to be released? I haven't heard anything about it.

I think it has just been released to OEM's. There are rumors of winMobile 03 smartphone to be introduced at the end of the year. The HTC one (code named Voyager, assumed to be the SPV2 to be introduced by Orange) is rumored to have built in bluetooth and camera.

Wow, sounds very interestings. If only the Mitac was a 2003 device, it would be golden.

Are there any sites regarding these rumors, or are they just word of mouth?

Since Windows Mobile now supports BT... I just hope that the BT stacks for the Smartphones are bug-free and support the headset profile too.
