Siri Security Leak and a Solution

Well, the secrets Siri understands I guess. You can disable this in the Settings &gt; General &gt; Passcode settings and turn off the Siri option. Annoying but if you tend to lose track of your iPhone, you might want to consider this!</p>

I love how the headlines proclaim a serious security dificiency. Yea, folks should probably be made aware that there are things that Siri will do when the screen is otherwise locked...if you allow 'her' to. Since that is the default, it might have been worthwhile to make that more appearant. Still this is based on user settings and can be turned off.

You gotta figure that having a hands free assistant loses a little appeal when you have to enter a complex passcode to even speak to her.

I'm waiting for the SERIOUS SECURITY VULNERABILITY IN ALL CELL PHONES headline. Pass codes can be turned off. No kidding.
