Starting immediately, new customers won't have the option of picking five or ten friends for unlimited calling. Existing customers will still keep the feature, but Engadget noted that switching from individual to family plans or the reverse might remove the feature."

According to AT&T, the Mobile to Any Mobile feature takes the place of this A-List option. I suppose, but if you had a business or school on your list, then that wouldn't be mobile to mobile would it? AT&T probably found this might not have been a good move so now for new customers they aren't going to offer it any longer, much like taking away the unlimited data plans. But at least by giving up unlimited you got the ability to tether your iPhone. Oh yea, that should have been an option anyway. What are your thoughts?
