Personally, I'm enjoying the heck out of Lion but I guess that isn't the case for everyone. If you have had problems, or working through learning curves, let us know here in a reply. I'm curious how many of you have made the switch and are happy, or unhappy as the case may be.</p>

Am I the only one that is caught off guard by how awful Lion is? Maybe I'm missing something big, but so far I have not found anything that makes me not regret updating. In the past I had applauded apple on keeping everything intuitively the same, just adding things to make it more useful. While they still didn't pull a Windows Vista move and throw everything out the window, It seems like really useful things that I used all the time (such as a trackpad "show desktop" gesture) are just gone. Other things seem to have changed for no reason.

Instead of the familiar expose/spaces method of navigating is Mission control, which is AWFUL. It does the EXACT same things as the above, except it needlessly has a new name, different controls, doesn't show all of your windows, and takes away several of the customizable options that were there before.

They tried to show off by adding a little "bounce" animation in finder when you are scrolling and hit the bottom of something, which might be at least kinda neat, but i want to punch the person that came up with it because it when it bounces, it actually scrolls back up a little. if you are trying to click on something on the bottom, you will actually have to scroll back down AGAIN, -slower this time so it wont bounce as much- even though you were already at the bottom. That one has caused a lot of swearing in public.

another thing that seems to have changed just so that they could say they changed something are some cases where scroll bars seem to automatically show/hide ON TOP OF your content instead of next to it. So again, if you're surfing in safari and u are trying to click on the edge of the page, that annoying little "slick" disappearing scroll bar will be like a troll blocking your bridge. STUPID AND POINTLESS!!!

for a company that used to seem like everything it released was "just right," Lion feels REEEEEEALY REALLY REALLY rushed out the door.
Thank you for posting these instructions because this is the first "upgrade" I've ever done that actually made my computer more difficult to use.
