Lion is only available through the Mac App Store, and at US$29.99, that means Apple has added another $30 million to its coffers (you know, because Apple was running short on cash)."</em></p><p><img height="301" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/zt/auto/1311297653.usr105634.jpg" style="margin-left: 150px; margin-right: 150px;" width="300" /></p><p>This is the first version of any Mac OS to sell one million copies on it's first day of availability, and I have to venture a guess that having it readily available for download online via the Mac App Store contributed in no small way to this impressive figure. Now we shall see if it can keep up these kinds of numbers, as the previous versions have done (two million in the first three days for Leopard for example.) Did you already download your copy? Any problems if you did?&nbsp;</p>

Installed yesterday on my 27" iMac (new in September 2010). Disappointed that all the new gestures don't work with the magic mouse. Can't pinch and zoom, can't launch mission control with the 3 finger swipe up. I can launch mission control with double tapping of 2 fingers. Zooming in works with double tapping of one finger. When trying to do things on the magic mouse with my pointer finger, I usually have my middle finger hovering very close to the mouse. I keep accidentally zooming in or launching mission control because my middle finger contacts the mouse while trying to do one finger scrolls etc. Don't know if I will use the launch pad much, might be handy.

Thanks hotdram. Didn't know about those two features until you mentioned them. The biggest problem about all of these new gestures and scroll directions is when I work on my Windows PC at work. I'll be tapping my non-magical mouse and scrolling the wrong/right way! :D

I was thinking I was going to download it, then I remembered that I hardly use my Mac Mini. :o Maybe if I start using it more I'll buy the upgrade...
