CNN Live Streaming Via iPad

I'm hoping eventually that you will be able to just subscribe directly to this premium content online instead of having to also have it set up on regular TV. I won't hold my breath, but I'm betting eventually it will get here, what are your thoughts?</p>

I tried this out a couple of days ago, while I was traveling. It worked as advertised. I'm not sure when I would use it, though. If I'm in a Starbucks, it might be useful. If I'm home, why wouldn't I just watch it on TV? When I travel, which is just about every week, the hotel TV systems always have CNN.

Interesting note: I often hook my iPad up to the hotel TV to watch movies. The CNN app does not work through the HDMI out. There is no real reason it should, since if I have a TV, I could just watch the CNN channel, but I'm guessing there are legal reasons behind it.

OH interesting that it doesn't work when hook up to TV, that is annoying but yea, you usually can get that on the regular channels. I know there are some other apps that don't work this way either, which I find annoying.

My mom needed this to watch the Casey Anthony trial. About two months too late for her. All of these TV services are going to put Slingbox out of business.
