Apple was able to catch "most" of the devices with the problem but the several passed through, unknown how many exactly. It could be a pretty high number though, as in <a href="http://allthingsd.com/20110610/apple-recalls-extremely-small-number-of-verizon-ipads-over-duplicate-id-numbers/?reflink=ATD_yahoo_ticker" target="_blank">this story at All Things D</a> they reported that one store alone sent back 100 of the units. Ouch.</p>
