Control WP7 through PC? Such an app? Best calendar/agenda app?

Is there an app to control the Windows Phone 7 through my PC? And what is the best calendar agenda app out there?

None that I am aware of for part 1. I expect I would have heard a great joyous Hallelujah due to the screen capture capability this would bring with it.

For part two, I would say, the one that comes with it. While I expect that there may be some third party app that could be better, it would almost certainly be stand alone at this point. The ability to access the PIM info on the device doesn't exist for developrs at this point, AFAIK, and the sync functionality is less than seamless for anything but the native apps. So, for me, the ability to keep the various copies of my stuff in sync, device(s), PC, laptop, cloud, far outweighs any potential wizbang feature on a third party offering.
