We spent the last few months not only to simply port our software to Google Android, but also to design a new user interface that is finger-friendly and perfectly tuned to Android. We have decided to use native Android control elements for the user interface (menus, dialogs, toolbars). As a result, SoftMaker Office is a true Android application with true Android feeling.</em>"</p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/adt/auto/1300202576.usr7.jpg" /></p><p>If you're a fan of SoftMaker Office on other platforms, you'll want to check out their public beta for Android. Seems like we have a lot of office suites on Android, but if it's a quality product (like I suspect it is!), then the more the merrier!</p>

I bought SoftMaker Office for Windows Mobile and never regretted it. It was a completely amazing mobile Suite. It's file format compatibility was excellent and the feature set was nearly identical to Word and Excel. I'd be willing to bet almost any money that it will be better than any other mobile suite out there for Android. If you need to edit files on the go you should definitely check this out! I'm very excited that SoftMaker is bringing this to Android!

Wow, SoftMaker Office coming to Android is huge. It was the best mobile office suite available and their desktop version was also great. I'll be keeping and eye on this one. Documents To Go and QuickOffice definitely has a competitor now.
